Full Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi – Hai Hau – Nam Dinh [G/L/D]
Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi and then transfer to Nam Dinh province. Start your journey by a visit to Nam Dinh Museum to explore the tradition of Nam Dinh history as well as Mother and Father God Religion – one of the original religions in Vietnam. Continue to visit Co Le Pagoda where you will behold the ancient beautiful pagoda with the architecture of Buddism mixed with Christianity in Vietnam. Have lunch in the local restaurant then check in a local homestay with a small warm welcome party.
In the afternoon, cycle around the traditional villages, experience the daily lifestyle of local people with ancestor worship village. Visit the House Bridge was built the in the 16th century with unique architectures of pile-roof which is the feature in Red River Delta. End your day with an exploration to Pham Phao cathedral and the traditional village of making brass trumpet.
Day 2: Hai Hau – Xuan Thuy National Park [G/B/L/D]
After breakfast, attend a cake-making class to make the traditional cake in the Hai Hau village – Banh Nhan (Logan cake). Then visit Xuan Thuy National Park. Get in the boat and explore Clam Hut with Clam Farm, Have lunch on the Hut with fresh seafood.
Return to the land and visit Salt Village and learn more about the process of salt making and have a chance to do this interesting work. Get back to the homestay and enjoy BBQ Dinner. You can enjoy the traditional art performances then.
Day 3: Giao Thuy – Nam Dinh – Hanoi [G/B/L]
After breakfast, cycling to fish market near the seashore. You will have a great time to experience the local life and know more about the daily life of local people. Afterward, transfer to Bonsai village to behold the wonderful manmade tree. Have lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, visit Tran temple before transferring to Hanoi.
