Ninh Binh is a rich mix of history and nature. It used to be the capital of ancient Vietnam attached to great wars against foreign invaders. This destination also owns the spectacular sceneries of majestic mountains and immense fields.

Full Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Ecohost Hai Hau (Nam Dinh) (G, L, D)

07.00 Our tour guide and car will pick you up at your hotel and departure to Halong Bay.

09.30: Halong Bay Arrival. Have a short break about 20 minutes. Then arrive at Bai Chay, Halong Tourist harbor start cruising to visit Ha Long Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, UNESCO World Heritage Site and have lunch on the cruise.

Visit Thien Cung Grotto – one of the largest and most beautiful grottoes in Halong Bay. Its structure is complex with different levels and chambers, which contain richly ornamented stalactites and stalagmites formed millions of years ago. Visiting Thien Cung Grotto, tourists can enjoy interesting stories about the shapes of the stalactites and stalagmites closely connected to the Halong Bay legend of King Dragon. Enjoy bamboo boat around floating villages, wonder daily life of fishing men on the bay.

16.00 You will return to Halong tourist wharf and get on our car and transfer to Ecohost Hai Hau, Nam Dinh province.

20.00 Arrival Ecohost Hai Hau, check in and relax. You will have dinner with local food.

Day 2: Hai Hau Exploration (G, B, L, D)

07.30 Have a breakfast with typical local foods of countryside such as corn, sweet potato or “Pho Co” – a famous kind of noodles in Nam Dinh.

08.30 After sweet breakfast, you will have a half-day bicycle tour to visit Pham Phao cathedral and Traditional trumpet making Brass village. On the way, you will also see Tile-roofed Bridge was built in the 16th century with unique architecture. Visit and experience the way to make a conical hat at a local house. Explore the daily life of local people and understand about the ancestor worship village.

11.30 You will have lunch at Ecohost Hai Hau and relax.

15.00 Transfer to visit Hai Ly church and fishing village.

16.30 Comeback to Ecohost and take part in a cooking class to make some typical Vietnam dishes and enjoy them at dinner. Overnight in Ecohost – living with enthusiastic of local people.

Day 3: Hai Hau – Ninh Binh – Hanoi (G, B, L)

07.30 Have a breakfast at Ecohost. After that, you will depart to Ninh Binh.

09.00 – 11.30 Visit Bai Dinh Spiritual and Culture Complex, the largest Buddhist pagoda complex in the North of Vietnam.

12.00 Have lunch in a local restaurant with some Asian local special dishes.

13.00 Transfer to visit Trang An tourist attraction, take boat trip to visit cave complex: Nam cave, Vong Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, Dai Cave, Film School – here, the huts are restored and reproduced the scene of the everyday life, the aboriginal abode appeared in the famous Kong movie, see scenery of mountain and rivers.

18.00 Finish at your hotel in Hanoi.
